Facebook has commissioned a study based on 11300 people who all belonged to 11 different markets and it has also talked to some experts to take their views regarding the structuring of these technologies. Following are the some of the interesting insights which are uncovered by this research of Facebook:
From all of the people, who were a part of the survey, 65 percent are those who think that VR would become a part of their daily life. The other 63 percent had the views that they are interested to use the VR to view the products so that they don’t need to visit physical stores. Other than this, the rest 47 percent agreed that VR now would be considered as if it is a physical world.

AR is already being a part of life
Somehow when there is growth in the visual communication, the AR lets the people blend the digital and the physical worlds so that people could communicate through their feelings, thoughts, and experiences in some unprecedented ways.

Defying distance with VR
Well, there is a prediction that till 2020, there would be more than 1 in 5 US internet users like Instagram Followers who will experience with the contents related to VR at least once a month. VR lets the people play with their environments especially the physical ones. VR helps people to transport them in new worlds and provide them with transformative experiences.
Transformation in the path to purchase
VR and AR tend to combine the convenience in online shopping with the confidence which normally comes when people try to purchase the products from a store. Most of them are those who are eager to use such technologies for better streamlining of their shopping experience.
According to the statistics, 71 percent of the people are those who are checking for the vacation destinations for them while 59 percent are checking for better entertainment options and 58 percent are found to be focused on retail and trying on makeup and clothes while 49 percent are taking a car for test drive.
